Dyson Home for Funerals, Summerton, SC will soon celebrate its rededication ceremony and open house which will include a multi-faith weekend to include the blessings and prayers over the newly remodeled building. The detailed itinerary of the weekend will follow.

The updated palette is soothing and offers a comfortable environment for all types of services. From pre-arranged funeral services to aftercare follow up, Dyson Home for Funerals is the preferred provider for many area families. We are thankful and blessed to welcome our community to join us for this special celebration. 

The funeral home opened in 1987 by the late Mr. Richard Allen Dyson and his wife Myra Dyson. He offered many years of service to the community and surrounding areas until his untimely demise in 2018. Mrs. Myra Dyson carried the torch and continued to serve the community. 

The Dyson Home for Funerals is completely committed to providing compassionate, dignified and affordable funeral services to the families in this community and beyond. We take the time that is necessary to create the type of funeral ceremony that is a reflection of the life of the deceased while meeting the needs and personal tastes of each family. Striving to exceed the expectations of each family we serve will remain our goal.
